Post-Care Instructions

Microneedling

To help you get the best results from your Microneedling treatment, please review and follow the post-care checklist below.

After your appointment

  • Do not use active skincare such as acids, retinoids, or exfoliants at least 48 hours after treatment.
  • Avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours. No tanning beds. Always apply sunscreen once healing begins.
  • Do not go swimming, use hot tubs, or submerge the treated area in water for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid exercise, sweating, or strenuous activity for the first 24 hours.
  • Expect redness, mild swelling, and sensitivity for 24–48 hours.
  • Use only gentle, hydrating skincare.
  • Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate the treated area while healing.

What to expect

  • Most clients resume their usual activities within 24 hours, with a healthy pink glow that may last up to 3 days.
  • You may notice mild redness or sensitivity, similar to a light sun-kissed look β€” this typically fades within 24–48 hours.
  • Tiny pinpoint marks or light flaking can appear as your skin renews itself β€” these shed naturally in just a few days.
  • Your skin may feel a little tighter or drier at first, a normal part of the healing process leading to fresh, smooth results.
  • Improvements often become visible within 1–2 weeks, with optimal results building after a series of treatments.
